Just sharing a song.
This is a live version of “Rehe” from the Beijing stop of the 2015 Kan Jian concert, performed by Mr. Li from Nanjing. The audio version I found had no vocals when played directly, while the video version with vocals was too blurry to enjoy. So I downloaded both and mixed them together again.
I have to say, B-ge makes singing look almost effortless. His mouth movements were so hard to match that, for a moment, I almost suspected he was lip-syncing — joking, of course. Fortunately, after cutting and adjusting a few sections mostly by feel, the audio and video more or less lined up.
There is no special reason for sharing this song. Back in 2015, I met a girl who sent it to me. She said she had always imagined lying in the arms of a boy she liked while listening to it together. Naturally, I was not the lucky boy in that picture.
Last night at KTV, even though I was not really in the mood, I still searched for Mr. Li’s songs and picked “Will This World Get Better?” and “Rehe.” The annoying thing is that different karaoke systems often carry different versions of these songs. B-ge has always liked singing old songs, but he tends to rearrange them each time, and his state on stage is never quite the same either.
I would not call it nostalgia. I cannot even remember her name anymore. But watching him sing until his voice almost tears open, I still wanted to keep this live version somewhere.
